         113th Day of School

 

OFFICE DETENTIONS

There will be no office detentions today.

 

LATE BUS

Students must sign up for the late bus in the cafeteria during their lunch time.  Please make sure to write your first name and last name when you sign up and also list the teacher you will be staying with.

 

JETS

The LAST JETS meeting is today after school! The high school team will meet in Mrs. Schulze’s room and the middle school team in Ms. Cote’s room.  The competition is THIS Friday morning in the Mahar Media Center.  All JETS team members must attend Tuesday’s meetings.

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

There will be a Middle School meeting tomorrow at 2:10 in C15.  The high school meeting will be held tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in room H10.

 

KEY CLUB

There will be a Key Club meeting tomorrow beginning at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Please have departure rides here for 8 p.m.

 

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

Members of the National Junior Honor Society must turn in order forms for the spring fundraiser to Mrs. Marshall in M03 by this Friday.

 

SENIORS

Workers Credit Union is offering a scholarship and the deadline is this Friday, March 3rd.  The applications are available in Student Services.  Also, Scholarship booklet #3 is now available in Student Services.


SOS

The next SOS meeting is tomorrow from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in room H03. Anyone is welcome! Please see Mrs. Sullivan if you have any questions.

 

ATTENTION INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD ATHLETES

Indoor track awards will be March 6th at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Please bring a dessert to share.  Also, please be sure to turn in your uniforms if you are not doing outdoor track.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Woodward.

 

 

ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAM SIGN-UPS

AP Exam sign –ups will continue through Friday, March 17th.  You may sign up in Student Services.  Please see Mrs. Tresback or Mr. Sullivan for any additional questions.

 

SPAGHETTI SUPPER

There will be a Key Club Spaghetti Supper this Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the Mahar cafeteria.  The menu includes spaghetti with meat or meatless sauce, salad bar, garlic bread, beverage, and homemade dessert on an “all-you-can-eat” basis.  Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12.  Tickets are available from Key Club members.  They will also be sold during lunch on Thursday and Friday, and at the door.

 

Today’s lunch is turkey and gravy over potato or roast beef sub.

ATTENTION STUDENTS

Students are reminded that teachers are not available for extra help or makeup on Monday afternoons.  Students who would like to stay after school on Mondays to complete work or students who are waiting for sports practices to start, are to report to the cafeteria by 2:15.  Students should not wander the building at that time.

 

JETS

The high school chorus combined rehearsal will be held today in the last block in the Charlotte Ryan Theater.

A reminder to all National Junior Honor Society members: Please be sure to have your fundraisers complete by Monday, February 27th.  You can turn in our fundraisers before the February break to Mrs. Marshall in M03.

SPORTS DISMISSAL

The middle school boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will be dismissed at 1:50 today.

 

COMBINED REHEARSAL

The Middle School Chorus combined rehearsal will be held today in EF block.  All middle school chorus members should check in with their E block teachers and then report to the Charlotte Ryan Theatre.

 

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

Today’s meeting is from 2:15-3:00 p.m. in the Charlotte Ryan Theater.

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

The high school Fish ‘N Game Club will be meeting in room H10 today at 2:15 to plan for the club trip in June.

GREEN CHEMISTRY FIELD TRIP ON THURSDAY

All students who have signed up for the Green Chemistry field trip should be at the high school main entrance at 7:20 a.m.  The bus will leave promptly at 7:30.

TOMORROW’S GREEN CHEMISTRY FIELD TRIP

All students participating in the Green Chemistry field trip should meet at the high school main entrance at 7:20 a.m.  The bus will leave promptly at 7:30.  Lunch will be provided, though you may bring your own if you want.  We will be back at Mahar for 2:45.  Make sure you arrange a ride home.  If there is a weather delay or cancellation, the field trip will be postponed a week.
