SPORTS DISMISSALS

The following teams will be dismissed at 1:50 today:  varsity and JV baseball teams; boy’s track team; the middle school softball team.

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS

Students are reminded that teachers are not available for extra help or makeup on Monday afternoons.  Students who would like to stay after school on Mondays to complete work or students who are waiting for sports practices to start, are to report to the cafeteria by 2:15.  Students should not wander the building at that time.

 

DEEP SEA FISHING TRIP

The deep sea fishing trip will be this Wednesday, May 3rd.  Plan to be at Mahar before 4:15 a.m. as the bus will be leaving at 4:30 a.m.  Please check your Mahar email for more information or see Ms. Gonciarz if you have any questions.

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

Elections for next year's club officers of the Fish 'N Game Club will be taking place today and tomorrow. Please check your Mahar email to cast your vote via Google Forms.

 

STUDENTS IN GRADES 8 – 11

Anyone interested in being a member of the Key Club for the 2017 – 2018 year should see Miss Smith in the Key Club room located in the library by Wednesday.

 

JUNIORS AND SENIORS

If you are 16 years of age or older and are interested in participating in Summer Arts Intensive, please see Mrs. McKenna in Student Services.  A representative will be here on Wednesday at 10:30 to discuss this program in depth.

 

JUNIOR PROM

Tickets for the Junior Prom are now on sale! Prices are $30 for a single ticket, or $50 for a pair. They will be sold at all high school lunches. Please be reminded that you must be current with your class dues in order to attend the prom. Juniors please see Mr. Bashaw or any of your class officers if you have any questions. 

 

 

SUMMER PROGRAMS

Summer program information from various colleges for high school students is now available in Student Services.

 

MATH MCAS TUTORING

For grade 10 students: There will be Math MCAS tutoring on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in room H03. All 10th grade students are encouraged to attend if they feel they need a little refresher before the MCAS test. Remember that you are not required to stay the entire two hours. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sullivan.

 

FROM KEY CLUB

The Key club is collecting non-perishable food items on Fridays through May 12th to be donated to the town-wide food drive on May 12th.  Please bring contributions to the cafeteria on Friday mornings.

 

ATTENTION ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

There will be a Middle School Social on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00 in the cafeteria. If the weather is nice it will be held outside the gym.  Burgers and hotdogs will be sold for $1.00 as well as a baked goods table.  $5.00 per ticket sold during lunch starting this Friday or $6.00 per ticket sold at the door.  See Ms. Allain-Moody or Mr. Kirouac if you have any questions.

 

Today’s lunch is cheeseburger on whole wheat bun or ham & cheese sub.
