                                    111th Day of School

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS

Students are reminded that teachers are not available for extra help or makeup on Monday afternoons. Students who would like to stay after school on Mondays to complete work or students who are waiting for sports practices to start, are to report to the cafeteria by 2:15. Students should not wander the building at that time.

 

SET DESIGN COMPETITION – CORAL PROPS FOR THE MUSICAL

Students can compete to win a first prize of $50 by creating coral set pieces for the Musical. Students can work in teams up to 2 students. Pieces are due March 16th so come down and see Ms. Miller or Ms. Belanger for more details!

 

JETS

The JETS competition is THIS FRIDAY!! Our last meeting to prepare is tomorrow in Mrs. Schulze's room. We will be discussing important competition information, so high school JETS team members should make this meeting a high priority.   

 

ARCHERY CLUB

The Archery Club will be meeting this Wednesday from 2:15 to 3:00 in the middle school gym. Both middle school and high school students are welcome. Please see Ms. Gonciarz if you have any questions.

 

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

Please remember that orders for the Spring Bulb fundraiser are due this Friday, March 2nd.  Please turn orders in to Mrs. Marshall in M12.

 

SOS

The next SOS meeting is Wednesday from 2:00 – 3:00 in room H03. Anyone is welcome! Please see Mrs. Sullivan if you have any questions. 

 

MONTY TECH VOCATIONAL INTEREST PROGRAM

Open to 7th and 8th graders who live in Worcester County.  Students will experience five different shops/trades from 3:00 – 5:00 for five Thursdays starting March 15.  Transportation is provided from Mahar to Monty; however, students will need to be picked up at Monty Tech at 5:00.  Applications are available in Student Services and are due March 1st.

 

 

 

KEY CLUB SPAGHETTI SUPPER

There will be a Key Club Spaghetti Supper this Friday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Mahar cafeteria.  The menu includes spaghetti with meat or meatless sauce, salad bar, garlic bread, beverage, and homemade dessert on an "all-you- can -eat" basis.  Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $2.00 for children under 12.  Tickets are available from Key Club members.  They will also be sold during lunch on March 1 and March 2 and at the door.

 

Today’s lunch is hamburger on a whole wheat bun.
