SPORTS DISMISSAL

The middle school boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will be dismissed at 2:00 today.

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS

Second semester schedules will only be available electronically.  Hard copies of schedules will not be distributed.  An e-mail will be sent to all students with instructions on how to access your second semester schedule.

 

LIBRARY

The library will be closed this morning for STAR Testing.  Printers will not be available for student or staff use. 

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

The Ice Fishing Derby will be held at Lake Ellis this Sunday, January 15th from 10:00 am

to 2:00 pm. Please check your Mahar email to complete a survey so that the club can get enough food and supplies for those that are planning on attending. Prizes will be awarded. If the ice becomes too thin over the next few days, check your Mahar email or the club Facebook page for updates on the status of the derby. See Ms. Gonciarz or Mr. Bevan if you have any questions.

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB MINNESOTA TRIP

Students who have not been to the last two Fish ‘N Game Club meetings and are interested in going on the Minnesota Trip this June should pick up an informational letter outside Ms. Gonciarz’s room H10.  A reminder that deposits to secure a spot on the trip are due Wednesday, January 18th

 

FRANKLN TECH ADMISSIONS

Franklin Tech applications are available in Student Services.  Please return completed forms to Mrs. Hoyle before February 1st.

Information is now available in Student Services for any student interested in becoming a Life Guard.

 

 

 

BIOLOGY MCAS REVIEW SESSIONS

Review sessions for the Biology MCAS will begin on Monday January 23rd and run through Friday February 3rd.  Sessions will be held in room H10 with Ms. Gonciarz from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and from 2:15-4:15 on Thursdays and Fridays.

 

KEY CLUB WINTER CARNIVAL BALL

This is for grades 9 – 12 this Saturday from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Mahar cafeteria; semi-formal dress if you wish.  Guests must sign up with Miss Smith in the Key Club area of the library.

 

Today’s lunch is ham and cheese Stromboli or turkey and cheese sub.
