89th Day of School




Students may sign up in Student Services to request a schedule change during the following days:  Thursday, January 18 through Wednesday, January 24.  Your counselor will call you down to discuss the schedule change with you.  All academic changes will be made first.  Important!  You are to continue attending the class that is on your original schedule until you are notified by your counselor that the schedule change has been made.



The Winter Carnival Events are scheduled for January 19th and 20th


The Key Club Snow Ball will be held on Saturday, January 20th from 7:00 – 10:00 in the Mahar cafeteria.  The dance is for students in grades 9 –12 and features D.J. Mr. Dan Kirouac.  Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the door.  They will be on sale during lunch today and tomorrow.  Senior high students must sign guests up with Miss Smith in the Key Club room of the library before school.  Guests must be signed up by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.


The Winter Carnival Schedule is as follows:


Friday, January 19: Assembly – last period (E/F) – Obstacle course and class games

Saturday, January 20: Ice Hockey (conditions permitting) at 8:30 a.m.

                                        Volleyball at 12:30 p.m.

                                        Snow Sculpture at 2:15 p.m.

                                        Snow Ball (grades 9 – 12) from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m.



Students interested in applying can obtain a paper copy of the application from Student Services or apply on-line on their school website.  Applications are due February 1st.  Students who have applied with the paper application or on-line by Feb. 1st will be able to have their interview at Mahar.  Interviews will be held on February 13th.  Please contact Mrs. Hoyle with any questions.
