97th Day of School

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS

Students are reminded that teachers are not available for extra help or makeup on Monday afternoons.  Students who would like to stay after school on Mondays to complete work or students who are waiting for sports practices to start, are to report to the cafeteria by 2:15.  Students should not wander the building at that time.

 

BIOLOGY MCAS REVIEW SESSIONS

Review sessions for the Biology MCAS will run through this Friday.  Sessions will be held in room H10 with Ms. Gonciarz from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and from 2:15 - 4:15 on Thursday and Friday.

 

FRANKLIN TECH

Applications for students interested in Franklin Tech are due in Student Services no later than February 15th.

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB ICE FISHING DERBY

The Fish 'N Game Club Ice Fishing Derby will be on Sunday February 5th at Lake Ellis. Please check your Mahar email for a survey so that the club can get the necessary supplies.

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

There will be a Middle School Fish 'N Game Club meeting Wednesday at 2:10 in C15. The High School Fish 'N Game Club meeting will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. in room H10. 

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB MINNESOTA TRIP

There will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday for students interested in going on the Minnesota Trip this June. This meeting will follow the normal club meeting at 6 p.m. in room H10. Students must have their deposits in to Ms. Gonciarz absolutely no later than Wednesday to secure a spot on the trip.

 

FROM COACH BILLINGS

There will be a baseball meeting on Wednesday at 2:10 in H19 if you are interested in playing baseball, please attend.

 

 

JETS

The High School JETS team will meet tomorrow in Mrs. Schulze's room and the Middle School team will be in Ms. Cote's room at 2:10. It is time to complete their proposal for renewable energy in Massachusetts. The January math challenge (in Google Classroom) should be turned in. New JETS members are still welcome. Interested in engineering? Come check it out.

 

PROJECT PURPLE

Tuesday’s boys’ basketball game will be a purple out in honor of Project Purple! Please dress in purple to show your support.  The person with the best purple outfit will win a prize!

 

SENIORS

Information is available in Student Services for the Greater Shelburne Falls Business Scholarship.  Any senior planning to pursue a career in business or a related field such as marketing, trade, agriculture or engineering can apply.  The deadline is March 31st.

 

Today’s lunch is hot dog on a whole wheat bun or ham and cheese sub.
