EARLY DISMISSAL TODAY
There will be an early dismissal today for Teacher Professional Development. Students will be dismissed at 10:15, buses will leave at 10:20.
CO-OP ICE HOCKEY
Any eighth grade student who is interested in playing Ice Hockey on our Co-op team with Greenfield High School next year please sign up with Mr. Woodward ASAP. If you have any questions see Mr. Woodward.
ELA MCAS TUTORING
For grade 10 students: There will be ELA MCAS tutoring on Tuesday from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in room H04. All 10th grade students are encouraged to attend if they feel they need a little refresher before the MCAS test. Remember that you are not required to stay the entire two hours. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Bashaw or Mrs. Kaczmarzyk.
ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAM SIGN-UPS
AP Exam sign –ups will continue through Friday. You may sign up in Student Services. Please see Mrs. Tresback or Mr. Sullivan for any additional questions.
The Book Drive will continue through Friday. They are looking for any lightly used or new children’s books to donate. Donation boxes with be located in both offices and in the cafeteria. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Permission forms are now available in Student Services for the National College Fair Field Trip to Springfield on April 3rd. Join us to meet college admissions representatives from all over New England and beyond, find out about majors, internship opportunities and more! The trip is free and open to the first 40 students to sign up.
VARSITY AND JV BASEBALL
There will be a meeting on Wednesday at 2:15 in room H19.
Mount Wachusett Community College TRIO program will be hosting their annual Alumni Event on Wednesday in the Charlotte Ryan Theatre from 12:05 – 12:35. Interested seniors must sign-up for this event in Student Services. Registered students need to sign-up for this event in Student Services and should take first high school lunch at 11:40 and proceed to the Alumni Event directly after lunch. The deadline to register for this event is by noon time.
FISH ‘N GAME CLUB
The Fish 'N Game Club will be hosting the 59th Annual Game Supper this Thursday. Appetizers will begin being served at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $15 and are available from Club Officers, Ms. Gonciarz, or Mr. Bevan. Tickets are free for club members.
STEM FIELD TRIP
If you are signed up for the STEM Innovator-in-Training field trip scheduled for Wednesday, there is a mandatory meeting in Ms. Cote's room C05 tomorrow at 2:10. At the meeting, you will be required to register and print your pass to attend the event. If you do not have a pass, you will not be able to get on the bus at 7:30 Wednesday morning.
STUDENTS AND STAFF
On Friday March 17th and March 24th, the Key Club will be collecting clean, redeemable cans and bottles from students in the office lobby in the morning. All profits go to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children to fight child abuse. Please help this worthwhile cause.
Also, the Mahar Key Club is sponsoring a night of volleyball and basketball tomorrow starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Mahar gym. Games include the O.R.A. elementary school teams and the Mahar faculty against the seniors in both volleyball and basketball. There will also be a shooting contest. The admission price is $2.00 for Mahar students and adults and $1.00 for children under 12. All profits will go the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute in Boston. Thank you.
