SET DESIGN COMPETITION – CORAL PROPS FOR THE MUSICAL

Students can compete to win a first prize of $50 by creating coral set pieces for the Musical. Students can work in teams up to 2 students. Pieces are due tomorrow so come down and see Ms. Miller or Ms. Belanger for more details!

 

MAHAR’S GOT TALENT AUDITIONS

Auditions for Mahar’s Got Talent will be next Tuesday from 2:00 – 3:00.  See Miss Smith in the Key Club area of the library to sign up.

 

ELA MCAS TEST PREP

Do you need a little refresher before taking the MCAS? There will be MCAS test prep sessions next Monday through Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 in the library.  All students taking the 10th grade ELA MCAS tests are encouraged to attend.  Remember that you do not need to stay the entire two hours.  Please see Mr. Bashaw if you have any questions.

 

COLLEGE FAIR

Field trip permission forms are now available for the National Association of College Admissions College Fair in Springfield, happening on Monday, April 9th. This trip is free (students must bring lunch money or a bagged lunch) and is available for the first forty juniors to sign up.

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB’S 60TH ANNUAL GAME SUPPER

The Fish 'N Game Club will be hosting its 60th Annual Game Supper tonight beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the Mahar Cafeteria. The evening includes a menu featuring moose, deer, bear, trout, and pheasant donated by local sportsmen, awards presentation, and fantastic raffle prizes. Tickets are $15 and are available through club members, Ms. Gonciarz, Mr. Duguay, and at the door. 

 

KEY CLUB SPRING FLING TRIVIA NIGHT

Do you like trivia?  Find 4 friends and sign up as a team of five to compete in the Key Club’s Spring Fling Trivia Competition on Friday, March 23rd beginning at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.  There will be awesome team prizes for each round of competition and a grand prize for the most correct answers.  The registration fee for each team of five people is $15.00.  Students in grades 9 -12 must register their teams with Miss Smith in the Key Club room by Wednesday March 21st.  Faculty and staff are also encouraged to create and register teams; teams can be student, faculty, or a mix of student and faculty.  Come participate in this fun event.

 

KEY CLUB CAN DRIVE

On Friday, March 16, and March 23, the Key Club will be collecting clean, redeemable cans and bottles from students in the office lobby in the morning.  All profits go to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children to fight child abuse.  Please help this worthwhile cause. 

 

Today’s lunch is teriyaki chicken with brown rice.
