Any eighth grade student who is interested in playing Ice Hockey on our Co-op team with Greenfield High School next year please sign up with Mr. Woodward ASAP. If you have any questions see Mr. Woodward.
ELA MCAS TUTORING
For grade 10 students: There will be ELA MCAS tutoring today from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in room H04.

ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAM SIGN-UPS
AP Exam sign –ups ends tomorrow. You may sign up in Student Services. Please see Mrs. Tresback or Mr. Sullivan for any additional questions.
The Book Drive will continue through tomorrow. They are looking for any lightly used or new children’s books to donate. Donation boxes with be located in both offices and in the cafeteria. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
Permission forms are now available in Student Services for the National College Fair Field Trip to Springfield on April 3rd. Join us to meet college admissions representatives from all over New England and beyond, find out about majors, internship opportunities and more! The trip is free and open to the first 40 students to sign up.
FISH ‘N GAME CLUB
The Fish 'N Game Club will be hosting the 59th Annual Game Supper tonight. Appetizers will begin being served at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $15 and are available from Club Officers, Ms. Gonciarz, or Mr. Bevan. Tickets are free for club members.
SENIORS AND JUNIORS
Turners Falls High School is offering a Massachusetts Educational Financial Authority College Admissions seminar on Wednesday, March 22nd in their library. This seminar is free of charge. More information is available in Student Services.
Information is now available in Student Services for the Athol Orange Lodge of Elks Scholarship. The deadline is April 1st.
CHILDREN’S CLOTHING DRIVE
Mahar's 8th grade Project 351 Ambassadors are conducting a clothing drive for lightly-used children's clothes. We ask that you clean out your drawers and closets to benefit Cradles to Crayons, an organization that serves families with need across the state. Drop-off bins are found in the School Office and Student Services.
FROM KEY CLUB
The Key Club is showing Before the Flood, a documentary about climate change featuring Leonardo DiCaprio on Monday March 20th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Kermit Cook Auditorium. There is no charge. The Key Club will be selling refreshments and accepting donations for Project Thirst. Please come and learn what you can do for the world.
The Mahar Key Club is sponsoring a night of volleyball and basketball on Thursday March 23rd starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Mahar gym. Games include the O.R.A. elementary school teams and the Mahar faculty against the seniors in both volleyball and basketball. There will also be a shooting contest. The admission price is $2.00 for Mahar students and adults and $1.00 for children under 12. All profits will go the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute in Boston.
STUDENTS AND STAFF
Tomorrow and next Friday March 24th, the Key Club will be collecting clean, redeemable cans and bottles from students in the office lobby in the morning. All profits go to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children to fight child abuse. Please help this worthwhile cause.
