LATE BUS SIGN UPS
Students must sign up for the late bus during their lunch time. Mr. Malo will have the sign up book. Please make sure to write your first name and last name when you sign up and also list the teacher you will be staying with.
MAHAR CANOE AND KAYAK CLUB
There will be a Mahar Canoe and Kayak Club meeting today after school from 2:00 –
3:00 in room C14. The April fundraiser will be discussed. Registration forms will be given for the 2017 season. Any questions please see Mrs. Normandin in C14.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SOFTBALL TRYOUTS
Middle School softball tryouts will be held today from 2:15 – 4:30 and tomorrow 3:15 – 5:00.
The meeting to review the 10th grade curriculum is being held today at 2:10 in the Charlotte Ryan Theater. Hope to see all the 11th and 12th grade trainers there!
FISH ‘N GAME CLUB
Members of the Fish 'N Game Club should check their Mahar emails for important information about the deep sea fishing field trip next month. Please see Ms. Gonciarz or Mr. Bevan if you have any questions.
Archery Club will be meeting today at 2:15 in the middle school gym.
There will be a Key Club meeting today beginning at 7:30 in the cafeteria. Note the later start time so you can work the supper at Fisher Hill. Please have departure rides here for 8 p.m.
Today’s meeting is from 3-5 p.m. in room H03. We'll be preparing for Ally Week and the Day of Silence. Anyone is welcome! Please see Mrs. Sullivan if you have any questions.
THEATER TECH CREW
There is a Tech meeting in the Kermit Cook Auditorium from 6:00 – 6:30 tomorrow. Check your email for details!

KEY CLUB SPRING FLING TRIVIA NIGHT
Do you like trivia? Find 4 friends and sign up as a team of five to compete in the Key Club’s Spring Fling Trivia Competition on Friday April 7th beginning at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria. There will be awesome team prizes for each round of competition and a grand prize for the most correct answers. The registration fee for each team of five people is $15.00. Prizes include gift certificates for The Hangar, Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards, WalMart gift cards, and French King Bowling Alley gift cards. Students in grades 9 -12 must register their teams with Miss Smith in the Key Club room by Wednesday April 5th. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to create and register teams; teams can be student, faculty, or a mix of student and faculty. Come participate in this fun event.
FIRST AID AND CPR CERTIFICATION FOR STUDENTS
High school students interested in obtaining their first aid and CPR certification are invited to sign up for free classes to take place here at school on April 24th and 27th. The classes will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on both days and require a signed permission slip. Space is limited to the first 12 students to return permission slips. Students have to be in good academic standing to be able to attend. Forms are available in the Student Services Office.
April is Autism Awareness Month. Autism Awareness is celebrated nationally on April 2nd but since that date falls on a Sunday, Mahar is celebrating it on Tuesday, April 4th. If you have an Autism Awareness shirt please wear it! Otherwise, please wear blue to show your support of our community’s growing awareness.
