MAHAR CANOE AND KAYAK CLUB

The club will NOT be paddling this week due to cold water temperatures.  We will plan on getting on the river next Thursday.

JETS

This year was a fantastic year for the Mahar JETS teams. The middle school team was Best-in-State, and the Junior and Senior team is going to compete at Nationals in June. On Wednesday, May 17th, after school the JETS club will have its end-of-year pizza party in the teachers' dining room. All JETS team members are welcome to attend.

MATH MCAS TUTORING

For grade 10 students: There will be Math MCAS tutoring on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 -5:00 and Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in room H03.  All 10th grade students are encouraged to attend if they feel they need a little refresher before the MCAS test. Remember that you are not required to stay the entire two hours. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sullivan.

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES

A reminder that now is the time for you to sign up for the PSAT test. Please see Mrs. Tresback in Student Services, with your sign up form and $16.00, as soon as possible. Remember, if you had free or reduced lunch last year, then you will be eligible for a fee waiver.  The PSAT is only offered to juniors once in October and it's a great way to prepare for the SAT test. See your counselor with questions.  The deadline is May 24th.

FROM KEY CLUB

The Key club is collecting non-perishable food items on Friday to be donated to the town-wide food drive on May 12th.  Please bring contributions to the cafeteria on Friday morning.
