NO LATE BUS

Because of the delayed opening today, there will be no late bus.

 

SOS

Today’s meeting is from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in room H03. This is the seniors' last meeting. Anyone is welcome! Please see Mrs. Sullivan if you have any questions.

 

JETS

This year was a fantastic year for the Mahar JETS teams. The middle school team was Best-in-State, and the Junior and Senior team is going to compete at Nationals in June. Today after school the JETS club will have its end-of-year pizza party in the teachers' dining room. All JETS team members are welcome to attend.

 

FISH ‘N GAME

There will be a high school Fish ‘N Game Club meeting tomorrow at 2:15 in room H10.

 

KEY CLUB

There will be a Key Club meeting today beginning at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria.  Anyone who wants to run for office needs to let Miss Smith know by today and have a speech prepared for tomorrow’s meeting.  Please have departure rides here for 8 p.m.

 

SENIOR GIRLS

The Petersham Branch Alliance is offering a scholarship to senior girls or post graduates who are Petersham residents.  The deadline is June 15th, if interested come to Student Services for an application.

 

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES

A reminder that now is the time for you to sign up for the PSAT test. Please see Mrs. Tresback in Student Services, with your sign up form and $16.00, as soon as possible. Remember, if you had free or reduced lunch last year, then you will be eligible for a fee waiver.  The PSAT is only offered to juniors once in October and it's a great way to prepare for the SAT test. See your counselor with questions.  The deadline is May 24th.

 

 

 

 

FOOTBALL CHEERING TRYOUTS

Cheering tryouts for grads 7 – 11 will be Monday and Tuesday, June 5th and 6th in the auditorium.

 

FRIENDLY TOWN LIVE CONCERT

This Friday May 19th from 7 – 9 p.m., Mike Patterson and the Mighty King Snakes Blues Band will perform a free Friendly Town Live concert on the big bandstand at Butterfield Park, 83 East River Street in Orange. The concert is free for all ages, and there will be free candy, while supplies last, thanks to Orange Saws and Westbrook Christmas Tree Farm.

 

Today’s lunch is pizza with roasted veggies or cheese topping or bologna and cheese sub.
