ATTENTION STUDENTS

Students are reminded that teachers are not available for extra help or makeup on Monday afternoons. Students who would like to stay after school on Mondays to complete work or students who are waiting for sports practices to start, are to report to the cafeteria by 2:15. Students should not wander the building at that time.

 

MATH MCAS TUTORING

For grade 10 students: There will be Math MCAS tutoring today and tomorrow from 

3:00 - 5:00 in room H03. All 10th grade students are encouraged to attend if they feel they need a little refresher before the MCAS test. Remember that you are not required to stay the entire two hours. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sullivan.


SPRING SPIRIT WEEK

The Mahar Student Council will be hosting its annual Spring Spirit Week through May 25th.  Show your school spirit and Dress for Tourist Day on Tuesday, Superhero Day on Wednesday, Class Color Day on Thursday and Senior Citizen Day on Friday. Also, remember to see Ms. Allain-Moody or Mr. Kirouac if you haven't signed up to participate in the Senator Games Field and Track events held on Thursday afternoon. 

 

2 FREE GOLF LESSONS FOR 10 MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Ellinwood Country Club will provide 2 free golf lessons for up to 10 middle school students.  The dates for the lessons have changed.  The new dates are June 6 and 7 from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.  Please sign up with Mr. Woodward, the Athletic Director, ASAP.

 

FOOTBALL CHEERING TRYOUTS

Football cheering tryouts will be held on Wednesday, May 30th and Thursday, May 31st in the Charlotte Ryan Theater.  This will be a 2 day tryout.

 

JETS

Mahar’s JETS team (high school and middle school) will have their end of the year celebration tomorrow from 2:10 – 3:00 in the teachers’ dining room.  We have much to celebrate.
