SPORTS DISMISSAL

The varsity baseball team will be dismissed at 1:45 today.

 

MAHAR CANOE AND KAYAK CLUB

The Canoe and Kayak Club will be paddling today from 2:30 - 4:30 at the boathouse.

 

FALL SPORTS SIGN UPS

Fall sport sign-ups will be on Tuesday May 29th at 2:10 in the High School gym. If you are interested in playing a sport in the fall you should attend.

 

SPORTS PHYSICALS

Sports physicals will be conducted on Friday, June 1. Medical Questionnaire forms must be signed by a parent or guardian prior to examination. Forms are available in the nurse's office or the athletic director's office. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL FISH ‘N GAME CLUB FIELD TRIP

Permission forms for the field trip to the Turners Fall Fish Way and Great Falls Discovery Center on May 31st are due tomorrow. See Mr. Duguay or Ms. Gonciarz if you have any questions or need an extra form.

 

HIGH SCHOOL FISH ‘N GAME CLUB OFFICER ELECTIONS

A Google Form has been sent to Mahar emails to elect next year's club officers. Current high school club members and club members in 8th grade are eligible to vote. Elections will close at the end of today. See Ms. Gonciarz if you have any questions.

 

SPRING SPIRIT WEEK

The Mahar Student Council will be hosting its annual Spring Spirit Week through May 25th.  Show your school spirit and dress for Senior Citizen Day on Friday. Also, remember to see Ms. Allain-Moody or Mr. Kirouac if you haven't signed up to participate in the Senator Games Field and Track events held on this afternoon. 

 

2 FREE GOLF LESSONS FOR 10 MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Ellinwood Country Club will provide 2 free golf lessons for up to 10 middle school students.  The dates for the lessons have changed.  The new dates are June 6 and 7 from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.  Please sign up with Mr. Woodward, the Athletic Director, ASAP.

 

FOOTBALL CHEERING TRYOUTS

Football cheering tryouts will be held on Wednesday, May 30th and Thursday, May 31st in the Charlotte Ryan Theater.  This will be a 2 day tryout.

 

FRIENDLY TOWN LIVE CONCERT

Tomorrow from 7 – 9 p.m., Ray Hendricks will perform the final Friendly Town Live concert at Butterfield Park. The concert is free for all ages. There will be free candy while supplies last. If it rains, the concert moves to Orange Town Hall.

 

Today’s lunch is cheeseburger on whole wheat bun.
