170th Day of School

 

BIOLOGY MCAS REVIEW SESSIONS

Students currently enrolled in biology are scheduled to take the biology MCAS on June 5th and 6th.  There will be review sessions for the Biology MCAS next week on Tuesday from 3:00 – 5:00 and Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 in room H10.  Please see Ms. Gonciarz if you have any questions.

 

SENIOR GIRLS

The Petersham Branch Alliance is offering a scholarship to senior girls or post graduates who are Petersham residents.  The deadline is June 15th, if interested come to Student Services for an application.

 

FOOTBALL CHEERING TRYOUTS

Cheering tryouts for grades 7 – 11 will be Monday and Tuesday, June 5th and 6th in the auditorium.

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS

Monty Tech is offering 8 summer camp programs beginning July 10th.  Applications are available in Student Services with a deadline of July 1st.

 

FALL SPORTS SIGN UPS

All fall sports sign-ups will be Wednesday May 31st at 2:10 in the High School Gym. Physicals will be on Friday June 2nd.  If you are planning on playing in the fall get you physical on June 2nd. Get a physical form at your sign up meeting or from the nurse.

 

GOLF

Anyone interested in playing golf in the fall please attend a meeting on Tuesday in room H07 at 2:15.

 

ATTENTION MIDDLE SCHOOL TALENT SEARCH STUDENTS

There will be a workshop today during middle school lunch.  Please plan on attending this workshop in preparation for the ArtFest field trip next Friday to MWCC.  The after school MWCC workshop on Tuesday, May 30th workshop has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 1st during middle school lunch. The workshops will be held in RoomS03.

 

 

 

 

SUMMER SCHOOL

Summer School registration will begin on Monday, June 5th.  Please see your guidance counselor for an application and to sign up for classes being offered.

 

FRIENDLY TOWN LIVE CONCERT

Tonight from 7 -9 p.m., the #1 ranked BBQ soul band in the USA, Trailer Park will perform at the final Friendly Town Live free concert on the big bandstand at Butterfield Park.  If it rains, the concert will take place at the Orange Town Hall.  The concert is free for all ages, and there will be free candy, while supplies last, thanks to Orange Saws and Westbrook Christmas Tree Farm.

 

Today’s lunch is apple, ham and spinach wrap or tuna on wheat.
