EARLY DISMISSAL NEXT WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2017

There will be an early dismissal next Wednesday. Students will be dismissed at 10:15 with bus departure at 10:20.

 

MUSICAL

There will be an informational meeting about the school musical "The Little Mermaid" next Tuesday, November 21st, in the Kermit Cook Auditorium from 2:05-3:00.  

 

PEER MEDIATION

The monthly seminar will be today from 10:00 – 10:40 in the Kermit Cook Auditorium.  Hope to see you all there!

 

FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

Permission forms for an excused absence to go hunting on opening day of deer season (Monday November 27) have been emailed to Fish' N Game Club members. To pick up a paper copy, or if you have any questions, high school members should see Ms. Gonciarz and middle school members should see Mr. Duguay. Permission forms are due next Monday November 20.

 

BASKETBALL CHEERING TRYOUTS

Basketball cheering tryouts for grades 7 – 12 will be on Monday, November 27th and Tuesday, November 28th from 2:15 – 5:00 in the auditorium.  This will be a two day tryout.

 

HILLSIDE PIZZA AND COOKIE FUNDRAISER

France travelers are selling Organic Hillside Pizza and cookie dough through November tomorrow. Pick up of your orders is next Wednesday, November 22nd in the cafeteria, just in time for Thanksgiving break.  Order forms are available in H08.  Teachers and staff can find a form in the high school teacher’s room and high school office area, or even better, order through a traveler!

 

SPIRIT WEEK

Spirit Week will take place next Monday through Wednesday.  Monday is “Dress to Unimpress” Day, Tuesday is “Tie Dye” Tuesday, Wednesday is Senator Spirit Day and students should wear blue and red.

 

 

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCIAL

There will be a middle school social tomorrow from 6-8 p.m. in the Mahar cafeteria.  Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the door.  Bring a nonperishable item to the social and receive $1.00 off your dance ticket if purchasing at the door! 

 

SKI CLUB

A reminder anyone participating in Ski Club should see Coach Riddell for a new code.

 

FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENTS

The Key Club Thanksgiving Can Drive continues through Tuesday, November 21.  Please bring your contributions to this year’s drive so that we can insure that everyone has a happy Thanksgiving.  There will be a collection spot in the lobby near the main office and in the middle school each morning. 

 

As of yesterday, the results of the Can Drive are as follows: 3rd place, a tie with grades 9 and 7 with 28 pounds; 2nd place – grade 11 with 33 pounds and 1st place – Staff with 230 pounds.  Please keep bringing your food and can goods.

 

Today’s lunch is nachos with ground beef.
