Anyone interested in participating in the Wachusett Mountain Ski Club, please see Ms. Riddell, Ms. Cote, Ms. Gonciarz or Mrs. Schulze as soon as possible.  Forms can be picked up from Ms. Riddell and will be available in the cafeteria at lunches.  The deadline is December 1st.

Come out to see the return of the 2012 Mahar State Champion Basketball Team face off against the Orange All Stars.  The game is at 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 26th.  It will be a great night of basketball as we welcome back old friends.  Tickets are only $2 for students.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is offering a college scholarship specifically to students whose life has been affected by MS.  Also, the Ronald McDonald House Charities offers a scholarship for graduating seniors who are exemplary role models in their community.  Information on both of these scholarships is available in Student Services with a deadline of January 18th.

A practice test for the ACT Test will be held on Thursday December 22nd, here at Mahar, for interested sophomores.  The test costs $12.00 and is great practice for the ACT, which you may take in your junior year.  Please see Mrs. Tresback in the Guidance office to sign up as soon as possible.

Miss those summer nights? Well you're the one that I want. Mahar Theatre will be having an informational meeting about this year's production: GREASE, on Wednesday, November 30th    in the Kermit Cook Auditorium.  Leather jackets encouraged.

The Swift River Elementary School donated a significant quantity of food.  We assembled 84 boxes and serviced 84 families.  Thank you all for your help and generosity; we couldn’t do the project without you.
