HELP SUPPORT PUERTO RICO

In efforts to support the people of Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Maria, we have decided to start a “letters for survivors” drive. When the storm made landfall, just south of Yabucoa Harbor on September 20th, it destroyed everything in its path including 80% of their agriculture industry and over 30,000 miles of electrical distribution wiring, leaving 95% of the country without power and leaving Puerto Rican residents without contact with their families. Twenty days after Maria hit, 1.53 million people are still lacking the access to clean drinking water, it takes up to 3 days to be given a ration of drinkable water or non-perishable food. The first step to help ensure that these survivors feel like they have the support of the country, is if they get some kindness through letters, pictures, drawings, or some inspirational phrases. These illustrations and letters can be given to either Ms. Miller or Ms. Belanger, and will be mailed out on October 14th. Please have them in before 2:00 today.
