OFFICE DETENTIONS

There will be no office detentions after school today.

 

SPORTS DISMISSAL

The middle school boys’ soccer team will be dismissed at 1:50 today.

 

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

Members and candidates for the National Junior Honor Society: the induction is next Wednesday, October 26th at 7:00 p.m.  If you are unable to attend, please notify Mrs. Marshall in M03 today.

 

8TH GRADE FIELD TRIP

Students interested in a tour of the Franklin County Technical School must turn in their permission slips to Student Services by Thursday, October 27th.

 

WRESTLING

To any student interested in wrestling this winter season, there will be an important preseason meeting on Wednesday, October 26th from 2:00 – 3:00.  Please plan on attending. 

 

ROBOTICS CLUB

The club will be meeting next Tuesday after school in Ms. Cote’s room, C05.  We have to finish building both robots and prepare for the November 19th competition at WPI.  Only 2 teams will be going to the competition and the list of participants must be finalized.  Everyone is welcome.

 

 

FROM STUDENT COUNCIL

Which class will decorate their section of the hallway the best for Halloween and win points towards the Senator Games? Come help your class WIN the Halloween decorating contest. Decorating will take place next Wednesday from 3:00 - 5:00 outside the Library.  See

PICTURE RETAKE DAY

Picture retake day will be Tuesday, October 25th.  If you are having your pictures retaken, you must return your original package to the photographer on retake day.  If you were absent on that day and would like to have your picture taken, there are order forms in the middle school office.

 

KEY CLUB HOMECOMING DANCE

The Key Club Homecoming Dance is tomorrow from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the Mahar cafeteria.  Announcement of winners in the parade competition and in the lip sync competition and the presentation of the Homecoming royalty will be at 8:40 p.m.  Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $6.00 at the door; they will be sold during lunch today.  Guests must be signed up with Miss Smith in the Key Club room (opposite the library) by 2:00 p.m. today.

 

Today’s lunch is spaghetti and meat sauce or egg salad sandwich.
