26th Day of School

 

ATTENTION STUDENTS

Students are reminded that teachers are not available for extra help or makeup on Monday afternoons.  Students who would like to stay after school on Mondays to complete work or students who are waiting for sports practices to start, are to report to the cafeteria by 2:15.  Students should not wander the building at that time.

 

WEAR YOUR HAT TO SCHOOL DAY

Please join the National Honor Society and “Tip Your Hat for the Mahar Cancer Walk!” Pay $2.00 and you may wear your favorite hat, dress code appropriate this Friday.  Please see Mrs. Hammond in the middle school office for more details.  This is open to all students in grades 

7 – 12 and faculty!

 

NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY

Candidates for the National Junior Honor Society must have their activity form to Mrs. Marshall in M12 by today.  Also, there will be a mandatory meeting of all members of the National Junior Honor Society this Wednesday at 2:15 in Mrs. Marshall’s room, M12.  This meeting is for inducted members only.

 

COLLEGE VISIT FOR SENIORS

A representative from UMass/Lowell will be here on Friday at 10:00.   If you are interested in seeing this representative, please sign up in either Student Services or your health class.  Please remember to get your college visit pass after signing up.

 

SOS

The next SOS meeting is Wednesday from 3:00 – 5:00 in room H03.  Anyone is welcome! Please see Mrs. Sullivan if you have any questions.

 

MIDDLE SCHOOL FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

There will be a middle school Fish 'N Game Club meeting on Wednesday in the cafeteria. See Mr. Duguay if you have any questions.

 

HIGH SCHOOL FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

There will be a high school Fish 'N Game Club meeting on Thursday in room H10. See Ms. Gonciarz if you have any questions.

 

 

 

HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month here is your fact for today: Frida Kahlo was born in Mexico City, Mexico and is widely known for her iconic self-portrait paintings and her outspoken nature.  She is a feminist icon who has overcome personal tragedy with triumph and grace.  The following is a quote that exemplifies her inner strength: “At the end of the day, we can endure much more than we think we can.”
