42nd Day of School

 

SPORTS DISMISSALS

The middle school boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will be dismissed at 1:50 today.  The varsity boys’ soccer team will be dismissed at 1:50 today.

 

NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS TOMORROW

Tomorrow is the Franklin County In-service day, therefore there is no school for students.

 

8TH GRADE FIELD TRIP

Students interested in a tour of the Franklin County Technical School must turn in their permission slips to Student Services today.

 

SENIORS – YEARBOOK ITEMS

Just a reminder that your senior picture, baby photo, candid photo and quote are due today.  See Mr. Guertin or Mrs. Hammond with any questions.

 

KEY CLUB

There will be a Key Club meeting today at 5 p.m. in the cafeteria prior to the Halloween event.  Please remember to turn in your candy to Miss Smith.

 

ASVAB

Permission slips for the ASVAB military service exam are now available in Student Services.  This free exam will be held on November 17th at Mahar, and is available to juniors and seniors.  Permission slips are due by November 3rd.

 

SENIORS

This year the senior art project will be completed during Semester 1.  Please check your email for the Senior Art Project voting form.  If you have any questions contact Ms. Miller.

 

COLLEGE VISITS FOR SENIORS

Representatives from the following colleges will be in Student Services on Tuesday: Elms College at 12:30 and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts at 1:00.  If you are interested in seeing a representative from either of these colleges, please sign up in either Student Services or your Health Class.  Please remember to get your college visit pass after signing up.

 

 

 

NATIONAL BULLY AWARENESS DAY

Today is National Bully Awareness Day.  If you are wearing blue find the Student Council Table set-up at lunchtime, show them your support of this very important day and they will give you a blue awareness ribbon and a special surprise.  Please see Ms. Allain-Moody with questions.

 

Today’s lunch is pork roast or turkey and cheese sub.
