SPORTS DISMISSAL

The middle school boys’ soccer team will be dismissed at 1:50 today.

 

FLU CLINIC

On Monday, October 16th, there will be a free flu clinic for students in the nurse’s office.  Permission forms are available in the nurse’s office and on the Mahar website.  Please return permission forms to the nurse’s office by Friday, October 13th

 

WEAR YOUR HAT TO SCHOOL DAY

Please join the National Honor Society and “Tip Your Hat for the Mahar Cancer Walk!” Pay $2.00 and you may wear your favorite hat, dress code appropriate tomorrow.  Please see Mrs. Hammond in the middle school office for more details.  This is open to all students in grades 

7 – 12 and faculty!

 

COLLEGE VISITS FOR SENIORS

A representative from UMass/Lowell will be here tomorrow at 10:00.  Also, Lyndon State College will be here next Wednesday at 1:00.   If you are interested in seeing these representatives, please sign up in either Student Services or your health class.  Please remember to get your college visit pass after signing up.

 

HIGH SCHOOL FISH ‘N GAME CLUB

There will be a high school Fish 'N Game Club meeting today in room H10. See Ms. Gonciarz if you have any questions.

 

FRANKLIN TECH FIELD TRIP

All 8th grade students living in Franklin County are encouraged to tour Franklin Tech on November 3rd.  Permission slips are available in Student Services and will need to be returned by October 18th

 

YEARBOOK SENIOR PICTURES

Just a reminder that senior pictures are due by November 1st

  

MAHAR CANCER WALK

Come join us this Saturday, October 7th from 9:00 – 2:00 to walk and raise money to help support the members of our community fighting cancer. Survivor lap to be held at 11:00. Sponsor Donor forms can be found in both Middle and High School offices.  Fact: Aside from skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women in the United States.

 

Today’s lunch is popcorn chicken, rice and snap peas.
