Microsoft Word- each student has to complete a step by step paper (procedures) of:

                          A.  machines used

                          B.   safety features

                          C.    steps taken from start to finish

                          D .   describe how it came out and problems that encountered

Also included is a picture (digital camera) of the project completed.

Microsoft PowerPoint-  every 1st or 2nd level student must complete a Woodworking PowerPoint project consisting of:  

                                   Approx. 13 or more slides

                              A.  Safety Rules

                              B. Injuries in woodworking (found on the internet)....include one picture with an accident

                              C. Value of different woodworking projects (found on the net)

                              D. Different types of shops or machines dealing with the wood industry--ex. Bedroom Factory

                              E.  Types of woodworking projects( each one a different slide with pictures from the internet...

                                    not from the web page)

                                   1. Scroll Saw (inside cuts)

                                   2. Woodburning

                                   3. Intarsia

                                   4. Bandsaw

                                   5. Carving

                                   6. Cabinets

                                   7. Lathe

                                   8. Router (signs)

                             F. Any extra slides ...relating to  woodworking

                             G. The last slide is of all your projects done in this class

Microsoft FrontPage- Projects will be displayed by the teacher showing the students work in all the areas talked about.
