International Foods & Culture Day
Most recently, students studying
French and Spanish enjoyed an educational "hands-on" experience. Friday,
September 26, 1997 was International Foods and Culture Day. Photos,
taken by Mr. Breuer, show students, parents and staff enjoying themselves
at this very successful event. Students prepared and shared foods from
Spanish-and French-speaking countries around the world. One of the most
popular dishes was a Taco Dip brought in by
Leanne McKnight, grade 11. Mr. Guillemette's centre de la culture,
in room 59, exposed all language students to examples of life and culture
in French- and Spanish-speaking countries.
