TACO DIP

1 PKG (8oz) soft cream cheese
1 CONTAINER (8oz) sour cream
1 ENVELOPE taco seasoning mix
1 JAR (8oz) chilled taco sauce
1 chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped tomato(es)
chopped lettuce
grated cheddar cheese
 
Instructions

  1. Blend first three ingredients together until smooth.

  2. Spoon into a flat dish--round works best.
    Chill.

  3. (While the cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning mix is chilling) Mix together, in a separate bowl, the chopped onion, chopped green pepper, chopped tomatoes and chopped lettuce. Set aside until needed in step 4.

  4. Remove chilled mixture from the refrigerator and cover with chilled taco sauce.

  5. Place the onion, pepper, tomatoes and lettuce mixture on top of chilled mixture.

  6. Top with grated cheese.
