Middle and High School Health Services

We care about the physical and emotional well-being of every student on our campus. Please let us know how we can help.

Administration of Medication

Certain health problems require that students take medication during school hours. Medication must be kept in the health office at all times.

Medication must be in its original, properly labeled container. Prescription medication must have the pharmacy label, as this serves as the doctor’s order.

We must have the prescription medication form on file in your child’s health record in order for your child to receive any medication at school.

Tele-Medicine

We have partnered with Heywood Healthcare to provide on-site access to tele-behavioral health services. Heywood Healthcare’s school-based community health workers work alongside Ralph C. Mahar school personnel to help students and families access services and resources. The program also provides screening when needed and helps students stay in the school setting, which supports academic achievement and attendance.
